Paula Brezavscek is the CEO and Founder of AZALA Skin Clinic. A board-certified Physician Assistant, she received her Bachelors in Nutritional Science from Cornell University and received her Master's in Clinical Medical Sciences from Barry University.
Paula’s passion for dermatology and aesthetics began after her own personal battle with adult acne. Her own journey has helped her become an empathetic leader in the world of aesthetic medicine. She strives for perfection when it comes to her work but appreciates every person's unique, individual features, and aims to maintain a natural-looking appearance with all her patients.
Paula founded AZALA as a place where her patients could feel comfortable in their own skin and not feel pressured when expressing their own personal struggles. She and her staff practice active listening with their patients in order to offer the right solutions that will not only treat their external concerns but also help them thrive with confidence.
"Cosmetic dermatology allows me to combine my technical skills with creativity and artistry to create work that both my patients and I are proud of,” she says. “Through AZALA, I have the opportunity to create lasting, honest relationships with my patients and help them feel the best version of themselves. I feel so honored to be a part of that journey."
Krystal Diaz, NP
Facial Rejuvenation, Aesthetic Medicine
Krystal Ann Diaz is a Miami, Florida native who received her Master's degree as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner at Barry University. Krystal currently specializes in facial rejuvenation techniques and aesthetic medicine utilizing the latest cutting-edge technology. She has vast knowledge and experience within the field of dermatology, where she has worked alongside many celebrity physicians throughout her career. Krystal believes in listening and tailoring every patient's needs to reach their specific goals.
"I love my career because it offers a creative outlet,” Krystal says. “Patients sit in my chair and know that I will do everything I can to address their concerns, so they leave confident and happy."
Monica Romero, PA-C
Aesthetic Medicine, Critical Care
Monica is a Miami Native who found her path to healthcare after suffering multiple knee injuries in college as a dancer. She started working in the Sports Medicine field and this led her to wanting to learn more so she applied to PA school. She has a Double Master's and has been Board Certified since 2017. After working in Critical Care upon graduation, her path led her to Cosmetic Dermatology as it brought together her two passions, medicine and art.
Monica loves to help others feel confident in their own skin by embracing each patients’ unique features and celebrating individuality. She has a natural approach to aesthetics and wants patients to leave her chair feeling like the best version of themselves.
“It is an exciting time to be a part of the AZALA family,” Monica says. “I love connecting with my patients and giving them advice about their aesthetic treatments. There is no greater feeling than finishing a treatment and seeing the expression on my patient’s faces when they look in the mirror."
